Tarena Selected as the Only Partner of "AI+ Smart Learning" Joint Major Education Program in China by the NCSDP of the PRC Ministry of Education

BEIJING, Feb. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tarena International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TEDU) ("Tarena" or the "Company"), a leading provider of professional education services in China, today announced that it has been selected by the National Center for Schooling Development Programme (the "NCSDP") of the PRC Ministry of Education as the only strategic partner for its Artificial Intelligence + ("AI+") Smart Learning joint major education program in China.

Pursuant to the agreement, Tarena will be the official partner to work with the NCSDP to provide AI training and certification services to universities and colleges in China. Both parties will jointly establish the Tarena AI+ Smart Learning Education Institute to promote the learning and understanding of AI technology by the young generation. Furthering to such efforts, Tarena will work together with Baidu, Microsoft, Amazon or other well-known international enterprises to develop integrated solution for university curriculum in the AI field, including academic major design and content offering through joint major program cooperation, teacher training, as well as the establishment of application innovation labs and teaching resources databases.
